The MG 82 arrives In Verdansk '84

Season 4 of Warzone is now live and as usual with a new season, new weapons have been added to the Call of Duty BR. One of those is the MG 82 LMG.

The MG 82 is a full-auto light machine gun fire the highest rate of fire in its class. It comes with moderate recoil, moderate and damage and an increased ammo capacity.

While LMGs are sometimes overlooked, this is a nice addition to an underserved category.

Warzone has over 100 weapons to choose from with an unholy number of attachment choices - so which are the best to choose?

Here's our recommended loadout for the MG 82 in Warzone and the best attachments.

Best Attachments

For the MG 82, we need to focus on improving the areas its weakest - that being it's clunky movement and inconsistent recoil.

This gun is incredibly strong, despite its lackluster performance in Cold War. Because of its large magazine size and solid damage, it's a serious spam cannon.

Here are the best attachments for the MG 82:

  • Axial Arms 3x (Optic)
  • Agency Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • 16.4" Task Force (Barrel)
  • Field Agent Grip (Underbarrel)
  • Serpent Wrap (Rear Grip)

You'll see this as quite a common setup amongst a lot of players.

The first four attachments are a must, this will give you an incredible amount of accuracy and strong damage at range making it perfect for tagging enemies at range.

Your fifth attachment comes down to preference. You could choose to improve the reload speed, hip fire accuracy, sprint to fire time or strafe speed.

I personally choose to improve the ADS time for quick snap ons - that's why I run the Serpent Wrap over other attachments (but the others are perfectly viable and are impacted by your playstyle).

Best Class

Secondary

Secondary weapons in Warzone are rather subjective - usually being swapped out for a Primary.

I would add the Sykov on to your loadout - given the clunky nature of the LMG, having a quick wielding pistol might be a good idea for close range engagements.

Here are the best attachments for the Sykov:

  • Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • Sorokin 140mm Auto (Barrel)
  • 5mW Laser (Laser)
  • 80 Round Drums (Ammunition)
  • Akimbo (Perk)

Lethal And Tactical

I always believe this comes down to personal preference. But I would opt for a Stun Grenade and Semtex.

Semtex grenades are all round good choices for whatever situation you find yourself in and for finishing off downed opponents

If you're not using the Heartbeat Sensor, you should be.

Perks

The perk selection is Warzone is a bit simple, but nevertheless, I would go with EOD, Ghost and Battle Hardened.

EOD is great for resisting explosive damage as you're not likely to be very mobile and it can be very important in surviving fights. Ghost will keep you hidden from enemy UAVs. Finally, Battle Hardened is great for detering the effects of tactical grenades.
