CRASH

New World, has been receiving some quality updates since Amazon released it's first major title to players all around the world back in September.

Now, while many of the bugs and glaring issues within the game have been resolved, they're rolling out a new PTR feature for avid testers.

Here's all you need to know about the Public Test Realm.

New World PTR Server Details

Having PTR servers within games is something that we've seen in the past with other titles such as Overwatch and World of Warcraft.

New World will be adopting this feature, as they've officially announced a new PTR server that players will be able to opt into starting November 10th at 12:00 pm PST.

This server is primarily meant to test out new features coming to the game, and to see if they're going to break the game essentially.

Amazon has noted the following regarding the new PTR servers via a new blog post.

"The Public Test Realm (PTR) is a limited-availability server-set that will give players an early look at upcoming features. These preview builds are snapshots of upcoming major updates and are not final versions— you may encounter bugs, crashes, missing text, or other issues. Between our internal testing efforts and your feedback we hope to catch and resolve all serious issues before they reach the live servers. Hundreds of changes have been made and the full release notes will be shared on release day.

To help with the feedback process, all newly created characters on these worlds will have the opportunity to instantly level to select level-ranges outfitted with appropriate gear and items"

While spaces are limited, it's always nice to have the option to be part of the games development testing, and let us know if you intend on registering for one of these servers.
