Dr. Disrespect is without a doubt one of the voices of streaming in this day and age, and his online persona has taken over YouTube since he switched to streaming over there a few years back.
But, The Two Time is making waves in anothe way this time around, as his first publicly released game, Deadrop has been fully revealed.
Here's all you need to know about Deadrop!
What Is Deadrop: Gameplay and More
Less than a year ago, Dr. Disrespect founded Midnight Society, a gaming studio with some ex-developers from the likes of Call of Duty and Halo, and has since been rather quiet with what they've been working on.
Well, over the most recent weekend, they showcased their first title, a verticle extraction shooter in the form of Deadrop.
The game is going to offer a blend of PVE and PVP for players to sink their teeth into, and during the live reveal of the game, we got our first look at the inital gameplay footage of Deadrop.
Furthermore, while it still looks a few years away, Midnight Society even has a content tracker for post launch for beyond.
Midnight Society's official page had this to say about their development process.
"Midnight Society is building the next AAA competitive PvPvE first-person shooter, and we’re doing it openly and transparently, one Snapshot build at a time.
We will release Snapshots, which are playable experiences focused around specific milestones, every six weeks. Every milestone has feedback parameters around weapons, player abilities, gameplay, and play spaces within the game. Our team will be collecting feedback, prioritizing it, and applying it to upcoming Snapshots."
Deadrop Release Date
There isn't really an answer to Deadrop's release date as of now. The latest reveal by Midnight was the first official look at the games footage, and while some players have had their gripes with it, we have to keep in mind it's still in the early days of development.
So, for a release date, we have somewhere in the next 2-3 years at the earliest!
